Jason Chacon
Jason Chacon is a second-year journalism major at Arizona State University. Jason, aka “J. Will” is a die-hard Dodgers, Lakers and Sun Devils fan. Upon graduation, Jason plans on pursuing a career in sports journalism.
Rotogod
Rotogod was born in a small village in Tibet and was raised by monks, who also had a strong affinity for wiffle ball. It was during that time that Rotogod achieved Roto-enlightenment, or the ability to know more about fantasy sports than any other living man. Rotogod has only two career fantasy sports defeats, one in NASCAR (a failed experiment) and one in NBA, but has never lost in fantasy baseball and like Satchel Paige, is said to have upward of 2000 career wins. Rotogod wants to play Tout Wars because he is 100% convinced that he could wipe his ass with the entire Baseball Prospectus staff, much less Ron Shandler.
Favorite team: LA Dodgers, Cleveland Indians, Tampa Bay Rays, LA Clippers,
Favorite Players: Vlad Guerrero, Jimmy Rollins, Felix Hernandez, Pedro Martinez,
Favorite baseball memories: compiling a 2027-2 fantasy sports record, Jose Lima pitching a shut-out in the 2004 play-offs against the Cardinals, when Randy Johnson hit that bird, when Barry Bonds’s home was raided by Feds circa 2004.
2008 World Series pick: Cleveland Indians over Los Angeles Dodgers (you won’t here it anywhere else!)

Very interesting comments from Liepmann….What about the future of Travis Buck? Is he just keeping the seat warm until some of the more highly touted guys are ready? I guess it may all come down to health for him.

Hey, thanks for the comment. Sometimes, when writing these team-wide evaluations, I’ll absentmindedly overlook a player and that’s what happened in this case with Buck. He’s a good little player and should remain fairly cheap for the next few seasons. I’d look for Beane to re-up Buck after this season, locking him up through the remainder of his club controlled years.
