I don’t think the Patriots choked at all. Because if they did choke, then the Giants didn’t necessarily “win” the game, which they clearly did. Giants “won” the game. Plus, you only get one chance to win the championship in the NFL where as the Yanks had multiple chances of winning that series against Boston.
Yanks vs RedSox ‘04 vs Dallas Mavericks vs Golden State or Miami Heat. That would be a better comparison.
